Nick has served at FBG since August 2021. He married Kyndra in 2003 and the Lord has blessed them with seven children. Born and raised in Eastern Kentucky, Nick pastored in the Louisville-Metro area for about nine years prior to moving his family to Zimbabwe where he served as a missionary training pastors for nearly 6 years. Nick received his B.A. from Boyce College in 2007 and M.Div from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2010. He is currently a Ph.D candidate in Old Testament Theology at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He enjoys hunting, camping, off-roading, and the occasional round of golf. As a blue-blooded UK fan, he is slowly learning to love UT Vol orange strictly because he loves East Tennessee and its people.
Bryon and Lori joined FBG in October, 1996. The following year, Bryon was asked to consider joining the staff as part-time Youth Minister. He accepted that call and has served in the same role since that time. Bryon also serves as the Public Works Director for the City of Sevierville, a position he has held since 1996. He attended the University of Tennessee and obtained a B.S. in Civil Engineering. He also holds a M.Div in Pastoral Care and Counseling from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Bryon and Lori have two grown children: Abby, a teacher and a coach in Chattanooga and Wes, an engineering student at UT. Bryon enjoys spending time with his family, exploring the Smoky Mountains, watching UT sports, farming, and playing tennis, pickleball, golf and basketball.
Cameron has served at FBG since May of 2022. He married Ashley in 2015 and the Lord has blessed them with one son. Cameron grew up in Mid-Missouri, received his B.A. Bible from Hannibal Lagrange University, and M.A. Music & Worship Leadership from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2011. Through this time the Lord cultivated a deep passion in him for leading people to worship God in spirit and truth. He has played piano for over 30 years and also enjoys stained-glass, gardening, and choreographing pyrotechnics displays.
Kayla has served at FBG since September 2021. She was married to A.J. in 2014 and the Lord has blessed them with two children, Thomas and Henri Jane. Born and raised in Gatlinburg, Kayla grew up her entire childhood in FBG. While her education took her to many opportunities across the region, Kayla served as a volunteer in many different roles after high school at FBG. In 2018, Kayla began serving in the Children’s Ministry at another local church and joined the staff in 2019. After a few years of serving the Sevierville community she felt God telling her and her family it was time for a change. Many prayers later, The Lord led Kayla and her family back to FBG in September 2021. She enjoys being outdoors, listening to music, and spending quality time with family and friends. She is happy to be back to her roots and continue to point others to Christ.
