In their homes they broke bread and ate together. Their hearts
glad, honest and true. They praised god. They were
respected by all the people. Everyday the lord added to their
group those who were being saved.

month of July. We will resume on August 4 with our regular weekly
rehearsal schedule.

Women's Bible Study—July 22 we will begin the newest
Bible study from Lifeway's Women's Ministry curriculum,
Faithful, Abundant, True: Three Lives Going Deeper Still, by Kay
Arthur, Pricilla Shirer, and Beth Moore. Study books are $12.95.
We will continue for seven sessions through September 7. Join us
each Thursday in the conference room at 10:00. Starting on
Tuesday, July 27, we're beginning a second Bible study group,
meeting weekly from 4:30 to 5:45. We'll be studying Radical:
Taking Back Your Faith From The American Dream by David
Platt. |
Will You Serve?—Remember that our church is looking for
volunteers in the following two important areas of our ministry:
1. Our Church Library
2: In Media Ministry to operate visuals and sound during worship
services.
Please contact the church office if you will volunteer to be trained
and to serve in either of these areas. |
|
New Bus Fund Established—Our church has sold our large bus and used the proceeds to establish a new fund to
purchase a second 15-passenger bus similar to the one we now own. Donations should be designated simply Bus Fund.
|
|
Nursery Volunteers—We're in the process of updating our
nursery list. With the addition of the Horizon service at 8:45
we now have two opportunities to minister to children and their
families during worship. We need a nursery helper and a
children's church worker for the Horizon service and our usual
volunteer staff for the Heritage service at 11:00. If you are
willing to take a turn, please contact Gina and let her know of your
preference (8:45 or 11:00) and how often you can work. Thanks for
your help!
